The holiday season is upon us, and so is our annual Hunger Heroes campaign! This fall for our Virtual Food Drive we encourage you to help provide nutritious groceries to children, families and older adults in need! Your donation will help stock a neighbor's shelves with essential items like wholesome produce, holiday meal staples and pantry basics. Every dollar raised makes a difference, supporting the Foodbank’s mission to combat food insecurity and ensure that everyone can enjoy a warm, and filling meal this holiday season. Let’s come together to make this holiday season a time of giving and community support!

Foodbank Need:
Across the country, uncertainty and rising costs continue to strain families and individuals. Here in Santa Barbara County, many older adults, workers, and households relying on food assistance are feeling the pressure, with more neighbors turning to the Foodbank—often for the first time. As the colder months approach and work hours decrease for many in agriculture and service industries, we’re preparing to purchase and source more food to meet the growing demand.
Across the U.S. there is an ongoing hunger crisis. In the last year, the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County served more than 209,000 neighbors. The Foodbank provides much-needed relief when work and wages are unpredictable for our community members.
Your gift goes further here. Every $1 you give becomes $5 worth of nutritious food—helping sustain our neighbors through the holiday season.
