2017 SAVE THE DATE: 20th Annual Santa Barbara Empty Bowls, November 12, 2017.
Join the Foodbank for Empty Bowls
Empty Bowls is a community event to end hunger alongside neighbors and friends. Local restaurants donate delicious fresh soup and bread. Guests savor the meal in one-of-a-kind bowls created by local ceramicists, then take the bowls home to treasure as a gift and reminder of hunger in our community. After your lunch, tour the Foodbank next door and learn about ways to get involved.
For a ticket donation of $30, guests choose a beautiful handmade bowl, enjoy a simple meal of soup, bread and water, and take home the bowl as a reminder of the meal's purpose to feed the hungry in our community.
This year, a limited number of large, highly sought-after bowls handmade by artists Merillee Ford and Danyel Dean will be displayed and sold at the Empty Bowls for $70, with six (6) raffle tickets included with your purchase.
