On March 11, 2018, Chef Katie Teall of The Cookery Catering, in partnership with the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, will host local luminaries and first responders at spectacular Rancho Santa Barbara for Rising from the Ashes: A Feast to Benefit the Foodbank.
At Rising from the Ashes: A Feast to Benefit the Foodbank, guests will enjoy a gourmet lunch prepared by Chef Teall and The Cookery Catering, open bar, and a live and silent auction emceed by KEYT Senior Reporter John Palminteri. Proceeds will support the Foodbank's Thomas Fire and Flood Hunger Relief Fund.

The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County is the primary provider of food and water in an emergency or disaster in the Central Coast region.
The Foodbank works with a network of government, health care, school, and private partners to ensure that healthy food and drinking water is always available at no cost to anyone in need in Santa Barbara County.
Each year, the Foodbank distributes 10 million pounds of food to a network of 300 nonprofit partners, such as Boys & Girls Clubs, the Unity Shoppe, and the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission. Nutrition education programs teach children and families how to make healthy food choices for lifelong health.
